Chris Green - Host
Chris Green has had some connection to the music business
throughout his entire life. His mother worked for legendary
West Coast promoter Barry Fey and grew up with members
of the Doobie Brothers, while his father, Gary Green, was
the guitarist for the acclaimed British prog-rock band Gentle
Giant.
At age 18, while a sophomore in college, Chris struck out on
his own and opened a live music venue in Nevada. He went
on to work as a college radio music director, book national
rock tours, produce music videos, and run an internationally
distributed independent record label. In addition to playing
in half a dozen bands of his own, Green also spent many years
traveling the world as a tour manager for dozens of other
artists––overseeing performances in 49 states and over 20
countries throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and the
Americas.
Chris also recently graduated from Harvard Law School and
is a nationally consulted expert on animal protection
legislation.
He currently splits his time between Champaign
and
New York City.
